How to use Excel to reveal stories from spreadsheets

There are many data sets available that hold hidden stories which can only be revealed after working some magic with Excel. Learn some simple but very effective functions in Excel to do data analysis and craft uncovering stories. In this webinar Steve Doig, Professor and Knight Chair in Journalism demonstrated the power of Excel by crunching crime-related stats in an imaginary country called Datamania.
