Super Bowl 51 took place on February 5th between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons to decide the National Football League’s champion for the 2016 season. The game, which drew 111.3 million viewers, ended with a thrilling finish!
The Falcons were in control for most of the game, but the Patriots staged an epic comeback leading to Atlanta’s defeat and the NFL’s first-ever Super Bowl overtime. The Patriots recovered from a 25-point deficit to win the game and shock the nation.
